Gîte LA VALLÉE
From your elegant loft-style barn convension, you step through several French doors straight onto your spacious private terrace of over 60 m².
Here, you can watch the sun rise and set while enjoying a captivating view across the beautiful Vienne Valley and far beyond.
With a bit of luck, you might spot deer, birds of prey, or even a fox in the field below.
It’s the perfect place to unwind – with a good book, a glass of wine, or pleasant company – beside the glow of a crackling wood fire, indoors or out.
Step Inside
The first thing you’ll notice when you enter La Vallée is the impressive sense of space – the high ceilings and large living area. Three wide French doors fill the room with light and frame the stunning view outside. This loft-style space combines a cosy sitting area by the wood-burning stove with an open-plan kitchen and an extra-long dining table.
Everything you need is right at hand: a stove, oven, Nespresso machine (with coffee capsules), kettle, refrigerator and dishwasher – so you can easily prepare and enjoy your favourite meals.
At night, you’ll drift off to sleep in one of the three comfortable double bedrooms. One is located on the ground floor (15 m²), along with a toilet and a spacious bathroom featuring a double washbasin, shower, bathtub and a second toilet. A staircase leads from the hall to a mezzanine gallery, where the other two bedrooms (12 m² and 10.5 m²) are found.
Stylish Comfort
La Vallée is a wonderful place to stay – not only because of its complete facilities, but also thanks to the beautiful design and high-quality furnishings of this tastefully converted former barn. The warm, elegant interior makes your stay a memorable experience. And as if that weren’t enough, you can also enjoy the shared swimming pool and sun terrace, relaxing afterwards on a comfy lounger or the large outdoor sofa.
Le Veau Vert stands out for its exceptional service. Unlike many holiday rentals, your beds are already made up on arrival, and you’ll find three towels per person, including one large bath towel. No need to bring extra luggage or deal with laundry.
Final cleaning and a starter supply of firewood are also included – so you can immediately relax after your journey and settle in beside a welcoming fire. All this (and much more) is included in the price (see “Prices & Availability” below).
And since even the family cook deserves a holiday, you can, by arrangement, join our Table d’hôtes for a delicious three-course dinner (for an additional charge).
Accessibility
La Vallée is located on a slope – part of its exceptional
charm. However, this also means there are certain safety aspects, such as a raised terrace on stilts, and two of the three bedrooms are on the upper gallery. For that reason, this gîte is less suitable for young children.
On the other hand, the ground floor is fully accessible, with all key facilities – including toilet, bathroom and terrace – making this gîte well suited for guests with limited mobility.
Dogs are warmly welcome, but please let us know in advance.
